From the moment she arrived, Rowan Jo showed the world an extraordinary strength. Despite facing congenital heart defects from the start, she carried an indomitable spirit. She was a true fighter whose short life filled our world with profound joy and boundless love that will never fade.
The Rowan Jo Foundation aims to provides annual scholarships to students affected by congenital heart defects — whether they themselves live with a heart defect or have lost or supported a loved one who did — to help fund their education. Established in memory of Rowan Jo, the Foundation carries her story forward by investing in the futures of those who understand, in their own lives, what she and her family faced.
Rowan Jo was only with us for thirty-nine days. In thirty-nine days, she taught us that joy doesn't need time to be real.
The Rowan Jo Foundation exists because we refused to let that joy end with her. Every scholarship we award helps a student who understands, in their own life, what our family faced. She didn't get years, but she can have a legacy — one gift, one scholarship, one small act of joy at a time.
